Project We’re In This Together preview…
We (my work colleague and I) are working on promoting a “greener” office. The first project will consist of a set of refrigerator magnets (as seen above) which will be distributed on our floor, a series of poster/flyer and monthly pocket size mini calendar. Maybe some freebies so people could take back to their desk (as a reminder to be gentle to our environment!). I’m very excited. This is fun. HEE
*What made me happy today: none, I was very sad today
Day 27
Work has taken over my life completely 100% plus I’m aging and SICK (for the past week). And this is because people keep KILLING TREES!!!! PLEASE STOP! At least think about the oxygen they produce and me!
What made me happy today: Art Under the Bridge Festival.. ahhhhhhh very tired
Day 26
The day I’ve been waiting for has finally come. The Brooklyn Book Festival ’09!!!!!!!! YAY I love books. There were 166 publishers in total. I wish we had this every month. (Sorry for some grainy photographs)
So these are books, flyers, bookmarks, leave-behinds and whatnot I got from the festival. Some are nicely designed (love) and some are blehhhhh. There are more on my table. Apparently I’m a clepto.
This I like. A typographic flyer of all the title they were selling today from Mark Batty Publisher. It’s a silkscreen! nice yes?
Because I like their flyer I bought 2 books from them. They are graphic illustrations by Noma Bar. I don’t know why I didn’t know anything about him until now. Where was I??!?? His works are out of this world. He reminds me of Charles Goslin.

This is so cute. A free T-shirt I got from C-SPAN booth. It came in a shape of a bus.
Lastly, food street map. Say food and information design and I’m there. It achieved some level of success because I had no problem finding my food.
What made me happy today: of course, the book festival

Day 24
My night shift doorman told me it was a tradition for him and his brother to go to IHOP at midnight every Sunday but it stopped after he took the job 
So last night I made him pancake!!!! I was extremely happy he was happy… until he tasted it. HAHA
What made me happy today: seeing someone happy

My first 24 hr after I got a staff spot at my job… carefree.
